sand wich

My family goes on vacation every year for a week to a beach in Delaware. All of my Mom's siblings and their families come together, sometimes as many as 30 people living in two houses. Each day, a sibling and fam is in charge of making food: sandwiches to be delivered to the beach and dinner for everyone once they come back to the house.

Sandwich prep usually starts as early as 9am. Orders are taken, condiments omitted, labels made. Assembly line is usually the way to go.

These were some photos my Mom sent me from this year's trip:

Mollie Murphy appreciates a good sandwich only when handed to her, on the beach. Find more of her work here.
